Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Sparksocial is a UGC, creative and video ads agency. We make ads for e-commerce brands in the UAE and Saudi Arabia.

This policy covers the website www.sparksocial.ae. It is run by Sparksocial LLC-FZ, based at Meydan Free Zone, Nad Al Sheba, Floor 6, Dubai, UAE. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean Sparksocial.

2. What we collect

When you book a call (/book-a-call)

  • Your first name, last name, email and phone number
  • Your website and Instagram link
  • Details about your business: what best describes it, your industry, the markets you sell in, your monthly ad spend on TikTok or Meta and when you want to start
  • The date and time you pick for the call

When you apply as a creator (/creators)

  • Your full name, email, mobile number and date of birth
  • Your gender and nationality
  • The country and city you live in
  • The languages and Arabic dialects you speak, and whether you are comfortable talking on camera
  • Your Instagram and TikTok accounts, and links to sample videos

When you browse the site

  • Technical details your browser sends to every website, such as your IP address, browser type, device and the pages you visit
  • Cookies and similar tools, including analytics and advertising cookies (see section 9)

We do not ask for payment details on this website.

3. Why we use your data

  • To reply to you and run your call: to schedule the call, send you the invite and come prepared with a recommendation for your brand.
  • To review creator applications: to see if you fit our brand projects, and to contact you about paid work.
  • To keep the website working and safe: to load pages and videos, and to block spam and attacks.
  • To understand and improve the site: to see which pages people visit.
  • To measure and improve our ads: to see if our ads on platforms like Meta bring visitors and leads.
  • To follow the law: when a law or a government authority requires it.

We do not sell your personal data.

4. Our legal basis

Under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021) and the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law, we use your data only when we have a valid reason:

  • Your consent: when you fill in a form and send it. You can withdraw your consent at any time. This does not affect what we did before you withdrew it.
  • To take steps toward a contract: when you ask us for a call or a proposal, or apply to work with us as a creator.
  • Our legitimate interests: to keep the site secure and working, and to understand how the site is used and measure our ads, as long as this does not override your rights.
  • Legal duties: when the law requires us to keep or share data.

5. Who we share it with

We share your data only with the service providers we need to run the site and our business. They may only use it to provide their service to us.

  • Fillout: runs our booking and creator forms and stores your answers.
  • Google (Calendar and Meet): used through Fillout to schedule your discovery call and create the meeting link.
  • Cloudflare: hosts the website, streams our videos (Cloudflare Stream) and protects the site from attacks.
  • Sanity: stores and delivers the website's content and images. It does not store your form answers.
  • Behold and Instagram (Meta): show our latest Instagram posts on the site. Your browser loads these images from Behold's servers. If you click a post, Instagram's own privacy policy applies.
  • Google Tag Manager: loads our analytics and advertising tools, such as Google Analytics.
  • Meta (Facebook and Instagram) Pixel: measures how our Meta ads perform.
  • Internal business tools (such as email, calendar and spreadsheets) that our team uses to follow up on your request.

We may also share data with authorities or advisers when the law requires it, or if our business is sold or merged.

6. Sending data outside the UAE and KSA

Some of these providers store or process data outside the UAE and Saudi Arabia, for example in the United States or Europe. When this happens, we use providers with strong security and contracts that protect your data, as the UAE and Saudi data laws require.

7. How long we keep it

  • Call bookings and leads: up to 2 years after our last contact, unless you become a client, in which case we keep it for as long as our contract and the law require.
  • Creator applications: up to 2 years. You can ask us to delete it sooner.
  • Analytics and ads data: for as long as each tool's settings allow, usually no more than 14 months.

After that, we delete your data or make it anonymous.

8. How we protect it

We use trusted providers, encrypted connections (HTTPS) and limited access, so only the people who need your data can see it. No website is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data. If a breach puts your data at risk, we will tell you and the authorities when the law requires it.

9. Cookies

We use cookies and similar tools to run the site, understand how it is used and measure our ads. Google Tag Manager and the Meta Pixel load when you visit. You can turn off analytics and marketing tracking at any time with the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use Google's and Meta's own opt-out tools.

10. Your rights

Under the UAE and Saudi data protection laws, you can ask us to:

  • Tell you what personal data we hold about you and give you a copy
  • Correct data that is wrong or incomplete
  • Delete your data
  • Stop or limit how we use it, or stop using it for marketing
  • Send your data to you or to another company in a common format
  • Withdraw your consent at any time

To make a request, email info@sparksocial.ae. We may ask you to confirm your identity first. We aim to reply within 30 days.

If you are not happy with our answer, you can complain to the UAE Data Office or, in Saudi Arabia, to the Saudi Data and AI Authority (SDAIA).

11. Children

Our website and services are for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18. Creators must be 18 or older to apply. If you think a child has sent us their data, email us and we will delete it.

12. Links to other sites

Our site links to other sites such as Instagram and LinkedIn. Their own privacy policies apply when you visit them.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will change the "Last updated" date at the top, and for big changes we may also show a notice on the site.
